Speaking of the nursery, here's a little before and after, before the actual before and after.
Before clean out:
We've also got some letters painted for her wall:
We feel so blessed to have so many friends and family that have allowed us to use their previous baby goodies! Sheri and Justin helped us out big time with their crib, glider, bassinet and many other items. Tina and Don have contributed tons of clothing and maternity wear. Melissa and Todd allowed us to use Taylor's beautiful bedding, lots of clothing and maternity wear. Sydney's also been getting lots of gifts from Grandma and Grandpa & Nana and Papa!! The generosity has been unbelievable!
Abby and Sydney are doing very well. Sydney is growing strong and Abby has developed a beautiful baby bump! Hopefully I can convince her to get some pictures posted soon for all to see. We're feeling Sydney move daily now which is awesome. It excites me every time I put my hand on Abby's tummy and feel Sydney kick or punch or flip or roundhouse kick or occasionally pull off what feels like a suplex.
From what we've read about this point in the pregnancy, Sydney's hearing system is fully formed and she's increasingly sensitive to sound. Abby was at work recently and the fire alarm went off. We all know the shrieking, vibrating sounds those produce. Abby said she felt Sydney curl up in little a ball and start kicking her repeatedly. Obviously she did not like that one bit! In the morning time or when she hasn't been moving for a while, she seems to like it when I tell her, "Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey". That usually gets her up and about!
Love her precious name!! And that she knows her daddy's voice so well already! : )
