Baby Bigfoot

This afternoon we traveled to Presbyterian for another scheduled doctor's appointment which went well. Sydney is a 2 pounder and steadily growing! The doctor said at this point Abby and Sydney are developing perfectly on schedule. They said Sydney's eyes should begin to open in the coming weeks and she'll start to practice blinking. It's getting to the point that she's almost hard to see on the sonogram because she's so big but here are a couple of good profile views of Sydney:

Sometimes these are to make out but that's her head on the right and her belly and folded up leg on the left. During the sonogram they had her face looking head on at us and you can tell she has some chubby little cheeks already!

At the end of the appointment the doctor always examines all of Sydney's vital organs and body parts to ensure there or no issues. So he checked out her spine, heart, brain, hands, stomach, leg bones, feet and so on. But he took special notice of Sydney's feet. He paused on a nice clear shot of Sydney's foot, turned to us and asked, "So which one of you have the long toes?". I perked up and very proudly stated, "I do!". My sweet baby girl has big ol' long toes like her daddy!
